Date:30-01-2022 Print
The 1st IOP-HU Physics Fellowship Symposium was held online on the afternoon of January 26. This forum consists of three sessions themed on "Condensed Matter Theory", "Condensed Matter Simulation" and "Experimental Condensed Matter", chaired by Prof. Fang Chen from IOP, Professor Caterina Cocchi from the Humboldt University of Berlin, and Prof. Carlos-Andres Palma from IOP, respectively. Postdoctoral fellows Shao Dexi, Guan Mengxue and Miao Guangyao from IOP, and postdoctoral fellows Rob Klabbers, Cecilia Vona and Mauricio Prieto from the Humboldt University of Berlin reported on their latest research progress. A total of nearly 50 postdoctoral fellows attended this forum online. After the invited talks, the participants had in-depth discussions in the three online parallel sessions.
This forum has established an important academic exchange platform for postdoctoral fellows from IOP and the Humboldt University of Berlin, promoting the participation of postdoctoral fellows in international cooperation and exchanges, and the cultivation of international talents. IOP and the Humboldt University of Berlin signed a memorandum of cooperation in 2020, with the aim to strengthen cooperation through cooperative research, international conferences, personnel exchanges, and joint cultivation of postdoctoral fellows. The "IOP-HU Postdoctoral Fellowship in Physics" was launched in 2021.
