On February 17, the 2021 and 2022 Ho Leung Ho Lee Foundation Award Ceremony was held in Beijing. Academician Fang Zhong, from the Institute of Physics (IOP), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), won the Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress of Ho Leung Ho Lee Foundation.

The Ho Leung Ho Lee Foundation was founded in 1994 by He Shanheng, Liang Qiuju, He Tian and Li Guowei, four Hong Kong patriotic financiers. It aims to reward outstanding Chinese scientists for serving China's modernization drive. Over the past 29 years, it has selected and rewarded 1526 outstanding scientific and technical workers.
