Feifan Wang engaged in solid-state spectroscopy and is currently an associate professor in Institute of Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He received a BS degree from Shandong University in 2012 and a PhD degree from Peking University in 2017. After postdoctoral researches with Xiaoyang Zhu at Columbia University (2017-2021) and with Manfred Fiebig at ETH Zurich (2021-2023), he obtained a joint professorship by Institute of Physics and Songshan Lake Materials Laboratory. His honors include ETH career seed award,  HORIBA Scientific outstanding graduate scholarship, etc. He served as the session chair on the DPG conference and the independent reviewer of Science Advances, Journal of Chemical Physics, etc.
