IOP-PSI Joint Young Scientist Fellow Program

Program Profile
The Institute of Physics (IOP) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) and the Paul Scherrer Institute (PSI) of Switzerland are seeking international applicants for their Joint Young Scientist Fellow Program. Participants of the program will be jointly supported and supervised by the two institutions. The program for each participant will continue for a period of two years, with the majority of time spent at one of the large facilities of PSI, and may be extended on the basis of mutual consent. Participants from PSI may also carry out joint projects in related fields at IOP.

Requirements
PhD degree in physics or materials science.

Salary and Benefits
Equivalent to a postdoctoral salary at PSI.
Application Procedure
Candidates are required to submit the following materials:
1) A detailed resume including education background, work experience and research plan The research plan should be based on the use of one of the large facilities of PSI (X-rays, neutrons or muons).
2) Three recommendation letters, to be sent directly by the referees to the contact below.
