Non-Hermitian Band Theory and Application in Correlated Electron Systems
摘要：Band theory and the theory of quasiparticles are the two foundations of quantum theory of solids. As the modern development of band theory, the topological band theory provides a unified framework for various phenomena. In this talk, we incoporate the theory of quasiparticles with topological band theory by introducing non-Hermiticity. We show that both the bulk Fermi arc and the quantum oscillation of in-gap quasiparticles are natural predictions of our theory.
