Bound State in the Continuum Realized in Two-Particle non-Hermitian System with Generalized Boundary Conditions

The bound state in the continuum (BIC) is an intriguing mode in quantum physics. In this talk, I will introduce a non-Hermitian system for realizing BIC: a one-dimensional two-particle Hatano-Nelson model with generalized boundary conditions. The BIC can be analytically expressed as the Bethe-ansatz form. Moreover, the eigenvalue of this state can be given exactly in a simple form. Adjusting the boundary parameter, non-hermitian parameter, or interaction strength allows this bound state to be continuously tuned out of the continuum band. The phase diagrams of the bound state with different parameters are given.
