The Bethe Ansatz is a powerful method for studying many-body systems. In this talk, I will focus on an important technique within the Bethe Ansatz framework—the Quantum Transfer Matrix (QTM) method—to investigate the Kondo model in quantum spin chains. Within the QTM approach, a key challenge is calculating the overlap between the boundary state and the eigenstate of the QTM. This overlap can be expressed as a determinant using the KT relation method.
